For this how-to video I showed my audience how to know when a plant needs to be re-potted and also how to re-pot a plant. The video shows that when a plant is rootbound there isn't enough space in the pot for the plant's roots to grow. Plants will show this by having roots come up on the top of the dirt, and water will drain to the bottom immediately after watering. This mean the plant needs to be put into a larger pot so that it has more room to grow. In my video I demonstrate this.

The plant that I used is my one and only house plant. I have never had a plant until this one which has been with me since February 2006. It is a very special plant for me and I do all that I can to make sure it stays healthy and happy. This plant was given to me by my two best friends when my father passed away and it has been with me ever since that day, through several moves and stayed with my mom when I went overseas for a few months. I hope to have it for a long time and hope that I am able to take care if it well.
