Eastern Kentucky University Libraries invites applications for the position of Continuing Resources Librarian. The successful candidate will enjoy a highly collaborative working environment and be committed to professional growth. Responsibilities will include providing access to continuing resources (both print and online), troubleshooting access problems, participating in the library liaison program, and participating in community and scholarly activities.
EKU Librarians have faculty status and 12-month contracts. Salaries are competitive and commensurate with experience. ALA-accredited master’s degree (completed or anticipated completion by August 2008). Degree(s) must be from a regionally accredited institution. Experience working with continuing resources; familiarity with link resolvers (SFX) and ILS systems (Voyager); familiarity with cataloging standards; and awareness of trends and emerging technologies in electronic resource management.
