Pacific University Library seeks a dynamic, imaginative, collegial and forward-thinking librarian to assume a leadership role in our organization as Head of Technical Services and Systems. This position leads and manages a department of 3 FTE staff responsible for acquisitions, cataloging and periodicals. This position also manages the library’s ILS, serves as systems liaison to our consortium, and plays a lead role in identifying new technologies and promoting their appropriate application into library and university services. In addition, this position has subject specific collection management and instruction responsibilities. As the Library begins an exciting new consortial initiative in the coming year, this person will be key to our success. This is a full-time faculty position, reporting to the Library Director.
