The Washington University Libraries in St. Louis, Missouri are in need of an individual to be responsible for the acquisition, arrangement, description, and preservation of archival collections. This person will also provide reader services and assist with classes, create and maintain a unit web page, work on digital projects, prepare exhibits, and, special events.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree, preferably MLS, archival/museum studies master, or master’s degree in art or art history. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Previous archival or curatorial education/experience; Ability to work with details in an organized and accurate manner; demonstrated research ability; familiarity with XML desirable; knowledge of current archive or museum preservation practices; knowledge of archival digital imaging and metadata standards; ability to work with the public in a helpful and courteous manner; evidence of written and oral communication skills.
