This is professional library work within the Integrated Library Systems Team of Support Services. Work involves frequent contact with internal and external customers. The work involves working in a team environment to analyze, plan, design and implement requests and system requirements related to automation projects. Work will be heavily involved in organizing web content according to purpose, objectives and target audience, and ensures content is accessible, meets usability guidelines and is in compliance with established standards. Work will include the development of user documentation and training materials as well as the delivery of training and technical support related to web projects.

A Masters Degree in Library Science from an American Library Association accredited program is required as well as experience in maintaining, operating and expanding use of an integrated library system specifically SIRSI Unicorn and/or SIRSI Symphony. Website development and maintenance experience required as well as skills in using a variety of programming languages and tools specific to Web development. A background in graphic arts and media design for customer focused innovative and intuitive data and multimedia content interfaces is preferred.
