Biography

Lisa McDonough teaches Resources for Children as an adjunct instructor for the University of Iowa SLIS program. She received her undergraduate degree in education, a masters degree in science education, and a masters of library and information science from the University of Iowa. Her background is in teaching, both in the classroom and the library. She is currently a teacher librarian in the Iowa City Community School District. Her passions within librarianship include teaching information and digital literacy, promoting student choice, and curating diverse collections that engage and reflect diverse student populations.
