Biography
Dr. Lucy Santos Green joined SLIS as professor and Director in January 2023. She is a Past-President of the Association for Library and Information Science Education (ALISE) and is passionate about investigating systemic issues in complex structures, instructional partnerships, technology-enabled learning, and the design and development of digital learning environments. She frequently speaks and publishes on a variety of topics including leadership in LIS, LIS research methods, online pedagogy, instructional partnerships, and engaging librarianship practices with a focus on K-12 public school education. Her research is credited by the ALA Publishing Committee as the impetus for the development of ALA's first journal publication ethics policy.
