Stewart teaches Cataloging and Classification SLIS:6250 and Rare Book Cataloging SLIS: 6411. Both courses prepare students to work as professional catalog librarians.

As special collections cataloger Stewart catalogs rare books, artists’ books, manuscripts, and ephemera for the Special Collections Department. Each semester Stewart also mentors 2-3 library students interested in special collections cataloging.
