Kate is a UI alum (BA - English) and has been working with the University of Iowa for over 18 years. She is mother of two beautiful children, Joey and Mia, and is the stepmother of Camden. In her spare time, Kate enjoys outdoor activities such as jogging, hiking, and gardening, as well as spending time reading, attending sporting events, or playing games with her family.

Kate takes care of SLIS administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings and booking rooms. She is in charge of anything financial: program budget and accounting, as well as taking care of our facilities. Students can contact Kate to request lockers or with facilities questions.
