The Library and Information Science Student Organization is hosting the first Library and
Information Science Collegiate Research Symposium, an online conference open to students 
from multiple MLIS programs. The symposium is provisionally planned for Saturday, April 
17th, 2027. 

Attending students will be able to present posters and papers in 20-minute sessions to an 
audience of faculty and students from SLIS and other MLIS programs, with an additional 
10 minutes for Q&A. 

Presentations can be over any LIS-related subject area. These can be theoretical, 
experimental, literature reviews, posters over projects you have worked on, (etc.). 

Breakout rooms will be opened to allow for simultaneous presenters.
