Biography
Dr. Iulian Vamanu, Associate Professor, joined the faculty in Fall 2014 after earning his Ph.D. from the School of Communication and Information at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, New Brunswick. Starting Fall 2025, he will serve as the Associate Director of SLIS. His research explores information and documentation practices in various contexts, including heritage, LIS education, politics, and religion. In addition, he examines public library services and programs that enhance community resilience.
